Ingredients:
1 medium yellow onion, sliced
1 tbsp cumin
1 stick of garlic, minced
1 tbsp tamarind, raw or crushed (optional)
2 large chicken breasts, cut in half
1 medium onion, peeled and diced
1 green chili leaves, chopped
2 jalapenos, chopped
1/2 tsp salt, to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the onions according to the label. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat vegetables with the olive oil, garlic and onion. Cook until a thick, crispy layer of onions starts to form, about 10 to 13 minutes.
2. Remove and reduce to a thick plate of meat. Add garlic to vegetable mixture and cook for a few minutes, until very browned in the center. Stir in green chili slices, chopped chickpeas and jalapenos. Serve immediately with rice.
This is a very easy recipe thanks to the tomato paste, a rich sauce and a great way to make noodles.
If using the bread crumbs, the noodles were cooked all over and not very crispy.
You can add or skip one of these if you like the bread more than the others to make more noodles.
