cooking coconut crab edible with butter and vanilla! (You can also substitute a lot of other ingredients for the batter here too).
2 cups of coconut flour
8 ounces extra-virgin olive oil, plus more if needed
5 Tablespoons baking soda
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon pepper to taste
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
12 ounces egg whites (I'm using about 2 eggs, but you can skip the optional coconut chips)
In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, honey and maple syrup and mix well. Pour in the coconut flour mixture to mix well. Let the mixture chill for about one hour, and then drain completely after 2 hours to cool. When the batter is ready, transfer the coconut flour mixture to the serving bowl. In the prepared bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla, then mix well. Mix in the remaining baking soda, and stir until the batter is smooth and fluffy. Add the egg whites and mix until you have a dough that will be sticky. Add the remaining baking soda and mix well. Pour the batter into the prepared crock pot, and let the warm water cool.
